Brad Beltz

Hello! My name is Brad Beltz. I am in my 6^th year of teaching, and my first year at Ben Holt. I currently teach Biology and AP Psychology. Previously, I have also taught Earth Science and Human Physiology. I love science! Upon graduation from Tokay High School, I enrolled at Cosumnes River College and played on the baseball team. After community college, I continued my baseball career at UC San Diego and earned a B.A. in Psychology. I finished earning my Single Subject Credential in Life Science in 2011, and added Earth Science shortly after.

My wife Ingrid and I have two children, Ace (2014) and Piper (2016). I like to follow sports, play baseball on Sundays, play video games, listen to punk rock, and quote funny movies. My goal in the classroom is to help students become their best selves and to help students apply scientific knowledge and scientific thinking to their own lives. I look forward to meeting you!
